Details

The Dixon Park District owns and maintains over 25 park sites, including the historic and beautiful Lowell Park, where President Ronald Reagan served as a lifeguard for seven summers. Lowell Park is now on the National Historic Register and celebrated its 100th Anniversary in 2007.

New facility

In 2022, the park distracted moved into its new facilities on Washington Ave. The facility is home to SVB Courts, featuring full-size basketball courts, two automated volleyball nets, and two automated batting cages in addition to Trinity Financial Community Room, an outdoor patio, and the Dixon Park District administrative offices.

The Dixon Park District is a separate entity from the City of Dixon.
