The Dietrich family farm has been in the family since Russell and Cora Dietrich purchased the property in 1947.
Outdoor, pasture-based livestock production has been practiced since Russell’s time and continues today. The farm offers healthy, wholesome products from animals raised without hormones or antibiotics. Proven approaches to agriculture are used in a sustainable model that benefits both the land—including the billions of microbes found in just one handful of soil—and its caretakers.
The rotational, grass-fed pasture system is ideal for animals and the environment. The animals graze naturally on the pastures, feeding on the forages growing in the fields. During the summer, excess growth is harvested and stored as hay for the winter—the animals’ waste returns to the land, providing nutrients for the next grass cycle.
