Home to Fulton’s Historical Society, the Martin House Museum features memorabilia and artifacts pertinent to Fulton’s history. The home also houses the Wayne Bastian Memorial Resource Room which features genealogy information, plat books, archived local newspapers, and Whiteside County history books.

The Martin House is on the National Register of Historic Places and offers Italianate style with early 20th century architectural characteristics. The original Italianate home was built in the 1850s. The wrap-around porch, common on Queen Anne homes, was built near the turn of the century, and the dining room addition reflects features of the Arts and Crafts Style popular in the first decade of the 20th century. The home also contains stained glass windows, walnut bench seating, and a walnut staircase.   Open Sundays 2pm to 4pm and other times by appointment.
