Details

A cousin of Abraham Lincoln, Henry Isaac Lincoln, built this historic building. Stop in and learn the history of the building and the town of Franklin Grove. The site is also home to the National Interpretive Center of the Lincoln Highway Association, which has an over 100-year history of its own. In 1919 the building was used as a hospital to house sick people with the Spanish flu. There is much to see and learn!

The H.I. Lincoln Bldg houses a gift shop and offers quality homemade items, art, photos, cards, jewelry, t-shirts, and gift items. There are also goodies for people with a sweet tooth, such as homemade maple syrup. As always, check out our candy jars! Future plans include a coffee shop with fresh baked goods, so check back with us in late summer 2020!
