Betty Predmore is an award-winning artist and teacher based in Dixon. Her work has been on display at many of our area art fairs and galleries including the Grand Detour Art Festival, Nuts About Art, Encore, and The Next Picture Show Community Art Center.

Betty also serves as a volunteer at the Coliseum Museum.

Lucinda Winterfield | March 1-April 30 | Lowden Gallery

Lucinda Winterfield’s love of nature, the North Woods, and wildlife shines through in her paintings. A dedicated plein air artist, she frequently paints throughout Northern Illinois and organizes painting sites for the Eagle’s Nest Plein Air Painters. She also helps coordinate the RRVPG plein air contest and workshops for the Rock River Valley Painters Guild.

Her oil, acrylic, and watercolor paintings have earned awards at Dixon’s Phidian Art Show and The Next Picture Show Community Art Center. Often found painting at parks, farms, and historic sites, she welcomes visitors and always looks for new painting locations.
