Santa Is Coming To Town Dec 6

Friday, Dec 6, Santa and Mrs. Claus will greet children & hear Christmas wishes at the Mt. Carroll District Library from 4-6 pm where they can also have their photos taken. Santa and Mrs. Claus will head to the courtyard square at to conduct a sing along before lighting the Community Christmas Tree at approximately 6:30 pm. Carroll County Toys for Tots will distribute goodie bags to all children and Sean’s Cocoa Stand will offer cocoa for sale from 4:30-6:30 pm on the square.

Tour of Homes December 6-7

Homes decked out for the holidays will be open for tours Friday from 4-7 pm and Saturday 9 am – 3 pm. The following homes will be featured: the homes of Keith and Linda Hallam, Steve and Diane Frankeberger, and Jack Kromer. Tours of the Miles Museum and the Davis Community Center will also be included in the ticket price. Tickets for the tour will be on sale at the Davis Community Center Friday, Dec. 6th from 2 pm-6 pm and Saturday, Dec. 7th from 8:30 am-1:30 pm. Ticket price is $5 per person for the entire tour.

Indoor Holiday Market December 7

An Indoor Holiday Market will be held Saturday, Dec.7 at the Carroll County Senior Center, 17612 Benton St., Mt. Carroll. More than twenty vendors will offer a wide variety of holiday gifts, baked goods and more. The Carroll County Transit will offer lunch options for purchase. Hours are 9 am-2 pm Saturday only.
